Printed calendars now include friends' birthdays and pictures from Facebook

NEW YORK CITY - (November 24, 2009) - Pixable (www.pixable.com), the first online photo service allowing you to print your Facebook photos, announced today the addition of calendars to their line of photo products.

Pixable's new calendar creator allows users to easily generate custom photo calendars that include all of their friends' birthdays from Facebook. With the click of a button, friends' birthdays and profile photos can be imported into the calendar, giving users a much more personalized calendar than ever before. The calendar creator utilizes the same Facebook Connect login as Pixable's photo album creator, enabling customers to quickly design a calendar using any of the photos that they and their friends have stored on Facebook.

"We're taking advantage of all of the information that Facebook makes available to its users, but providing it in a useful and tangible format," said Pixable co-founder Andres Blank. "By allowing users to quickly add their most important dates from Facebook, we're not only saving them time, but we're also giving them a personalized product that didn't exist before."

The calendars come in desk and wall formats and are completely customizable; there are 12, 18, and 24 month sizes, and each month's page can be designed with any number of photos.

There is an additional option to include profile photos of friends whose birthdays fall in any particular month. Dates can also be customized by importing holidays by religion or adding personal events and special occasions. The wall calendars open up to 11" x 17", while the desk calendars are a double sided 8.5" x 11" self-standing design showing dates on one side and images on the other.
