Pixable is a start-up founded by three MIT students and is now located in New York City.

Pixable enables users to create and print artistic photo books using the photos that they and their friends have stored on Facebook with additional content like captions or tagging information. In addition, users can combine photos transferred from Flickr and Picasa accounts or upload them from their hard drive. Pixable is a very powerful browser-based album editor, and it is also one of the easiest and fastest creators to use - reducing the average time spent creating an album from 3 hours to just 5 minutes. The photo books are printed, packaged and home delivered all at an affordable price.
Pixable offers a fast, easy and superior way to turn your Facebook, Flickr and Picasa photos into home delivered printed memorabilia.

Speed: Pixable is the fastest online photo book creator. Until Pixable printing photos directly from Facebook was tedious, since it required downloading photos one by one onto a hard drive, uploading them to a photo finishing site and then re-organizing them.

Ease: Pixable is user-friendly and requires no software downloads. All browser based.

Superior features: Pixable allows visitors to access and import unique Facebook content, including tagging information, photo captions and comments left by friends. Visitors can search their photos for specific people or use entire albums already organized on Facebook. Once they’ve selected the content they want, visitors can organize the photos themselves or allow Pixable to auto fill the album in mere seconds.
The company is named after the Miss Pixable title that photographers would award to the most photogenic contestants in the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants during the 1960s.
Pixable was founded by Inaki, Andres and Alberto in the summer of 2008 from Inaki’s apartment on the MIT campus. They met at MIT and are living the dream.
