With hundreds of millions of photos and videos being shared every day it's easy to miss out on the ones that actually matter to you. Pixable finds the best photos and videos shared on your social network so you never miss an important moment.
Pixable, founded in 2009, is a start-up headquartered in SoHo, NYC with MIT roots. The company has enabled over 4 million users to discover and enjoy their online photos. The company's free application offers a unique, personalized browsing experience by aggregating photos from different social networks and then sorting them into fun feeds like "Best Photos of the Day" in order of their relevance to the user. Pixable also doubles as a notification service allowing users to follow friends' photo activity and be notified of newly tagged or uploaded photos.
Pixable has been featured in The New York Times, BBC, Newsweek, CNN, USA Today, Mashable, Tech Crunch and The Atlantic Magazine. It was also highlighted as one of the coolest companies to work for by Time Out Magazine.

The company is named after the Miss Pixable title that photographers would award to the most photogenic contestants in the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants during the 1960s.
Pixable was founded by Inaki Berenguer, Andres Blank and Alberto Sheinfeld in 2009 at Inaki's apartment on the MIT campus. They met at MIT and are living the dream.
Before Pixable, Inaki completed Master's and PhD degrees in Engineering at Cambridge University, completed an MBA at MIT, and spent two years as a Fulbright scholar at Columbia University. He also worked as a researcher at HP, NEC Labs and Intel. More recently, he spent two years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in the high tech, banking and telecom sectors, and as a manager in the Corporate Strategy Group at Microsoft. Inaki is trying to convince the rest of the team to open a Pixable office somewhere warm in Spain.
Alberto is a Computer Science graduate passionate about technology and gadgets. Before Pixable, he worked as a project manager in various successful startups. In his free time, he enjoys organizing barbeques and spending time on the beach in the Caribbean. Don't we all!
Alberto received his Master's and PhD degrees in Engineering from Columbia University. Prior to Pixable he was a research scientist at Telefonica Research, working four years on innovation and corporate entrepreneurship. Alberto has also worked at Microsoft Research and Columbia University, founded two companies, and authored over 50 published scientific papers and patents. Nicknamed "Your Highness", he is rumored to be a direct descendent from the Spanish Royal family. True or not, he is happy to have taken the position of "the funny guy" at Pixable.
Julio received his MSc in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (Venezuela), graduating at the top of his class. Before Pixable, Julio founded two companies, one of which was known for a popular mobile application that was installed by more than 90% of the BlackBerry users in Venezuela. Julio also brings in experience with big data and multi-region system deployment, which he gained during his time working with IBM-Guardium and Coldwell Banker Latam. Aside from computers, he loves road trips, camping and traveling in general.
